330887C1FFADC902FF3DFD44FC2BFFD5.taxon	discussion	Remarks: The species Onchodellus anatolicus sp. nov. belongs to the O. strigifer group, which was established by Mašán (2007) based on the presence of two pairs of slit-like gland pores (gdZ 1, gdS 4), the structure of the spermatodactyl, and the length of the J 5 seta. It can be compared to the seven previously described species in this group (Özbek & Halliday, 2024). Onchodellus anatolicus sp. nov. can be easily distinguished from most species of this group by the number of setae on the soft integument, which varies among species as follows: 12 pairs in O. anatolicus and O. striatifer; 11 pairs in O. strigifer (Berlese, 1892) and O. montanus Şahin & Özbek, 2018; 14 pairs in O. neglectus Mašán, 2007; 10 pairs in O. slovacus Mašán, 2007; and 13 pairs in O. tegulifer Mašán, 2007, O. kosensis Özbek, 2023, and O. marginatus Özbek & Halliday, 2024. Although O. anatolicus shares the same number of setae with O. striatifer Mašán, 2007, it differs in several morphological features, including the shape of the idiosoma, the ornamentation of the dorsal shield, the significantly longer J 5 setae (16 – 20 long in O. anatolicus; 8 – 13 in O. striatifer), and a longer spermatodactyl in males (185 – 190 O. anatolicus; 120 – 140 in O. striatifer).	en	Özbek, Hasan Hüseyin, Akyol, Hicran, Demir, Derya (2025): New records and new species of Pachylaelapidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) from Erzincan Province, Türkiye. 330887C1FFA9C900FF3DFA2CFB87FF22.taxon	discussion	Remarks: Pachylaelaps (Pachylaelaps) armiger was first described from Türkiye by Özbek & Mašán (2018) based only on female specimens. In the present study, 15 females and one male were collected from the study area. Male specimen of the species was collected and examined for the first time in this study, and its description and illustrations are presented here. Additionally, another important finding was observed in the female specimens: while Özbek & Mašán (2018) reported a large posterolateral projection on trochanter III, this projection was absent in most of the newly collected female specimens, being present in only four of them.	en	Özbek, Hasan Hüseyin, Akyol, Hicran, Demir, Derya (2025): New records and new species of Pachylaelapidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) from Erzincan Province, Türkiye. 330887C1FFABC90FFF3DFF3CFEF5FA97.taxon	discussion	Remarks: Pachylaelaps (Pachylaelaps) evansi was first described by Costa (1971) from Israel based on both female and male specimens, accompanied by high-quality hand drawings and detailed morphological descriptions. Later, Özbek and Mašán (2018) provided additional morphological insights based on two female specimens from Tunceli province in Türkiye, reporting the presence of 12 setae on genu I (with pd 3 absent) and fifteen pairs of setae on the soft integument (seven pairs of marginal setae and eight pairs of opisthogastric setae). Furthermore, Costa (1971) did not mention the tubes of the spermathecal apparatus in his original description, and Özbek & Mašán (2018) hypothesized that these structures are likely unsclerotized, rudimentary, or absent. In the present study, ten females and three males specimens of P. evansi were collected from the valley. These specimens were examined in detail, photographed, and measured, yielding several new and significant findings for the species. These findings are as follows: (1) the tubes of the spermathecal apparatus are clearly visible, associated with the posterior margin of coxae IV, and appear short and tubular; (2) setae Jv 2 are predominantly positioned on the posterior margin of the genitiventral shield, although in one of the newly collected specimens and two previously collected specimens from Tunceli province, they are located on the soft integument; (3) setae z 1 are distinctly longer than j 1; (4) genu I and tibia I of the males exhibit distally narrowed processes; and (5) more detailed morphometric data and differential interference contrast (DIC) images are provided to further elucidate the species‘ morphological characteristics.	en	Özbek, Hasan Hüseyin, Akyol, Hicran, Demir, Derya (2025): New records and new species of Pachylaelapidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) from Erzincan Province, Türkiye. 330887C1FFA5C90AFF3DFBD4FDAEFCFB.taxon	discussion	Remarks: The new species resembles P. friedrichi Mašán, 2008, P. angustus Hyatt 1956, and P. angustoides Babaeian & Mašán, 2016, of the genus in the following characteristics: (1) peritrematal shields free, not fused with exopodal shields, (2) ventrianal shield with two pairs of setae, (3) metapodal plates much longer than wide, not fused to the ventrianal shield, (4) presternal area weakly sclerotized, distinct presternal shields absent, (5) posterior ends of peritrematal shields reaching the posterior level of exopodal plates IV Pachyseius biscleritus sp. nov. differs from P. friedrichi in the presence of weakly sclerotized presternal shields, a different modification of the posterior section of the peritrematal shield, a different shape of the epistome, a different number of setae on the soft integument, and the shape of the ventrianal shield (inverted pear-shaped in P. friedrichi; oblong in P. biscleritus). Pachyseius biscleritus sp. nov. also differs from P. angustus in the number of spur-like setae on tarsus II of the female (two setae in P. angustus, one seta in P. biscleritus), the modification of the posterior section of the peritrematal shield, the number of setae on the soft integument (12 pairs in P. angustus, 13 pairs in P. biscleritus), and the position of the genital pore, which is located on the epigynal shield in P. angustus (Mašán, 2007, 2008). Pachyseius biscleritus sp. nov. differs from P. angustoides in the following characteristics: the number of apodemes on the soft integument near the anterolateral margins of the ventrianal shield (two pairs of small oval and one pair of large elongated apodemes in P. biscleritus; one pair of small oval and one pair of large elongated apodemes in P. angustoides), the number of setae on the soft integument (13 pairs in P. biscleritus, 12 pairs in P. angustoides), the modifications of the posterior part of the peritrematal shield (slightly narrowed towards the terminal section in P. biscleritus, strongly narrowed in P. angustoides), the anterior ends of the peritremes extending beyond the level of gland pores gdj 3 in P. biscleritus, whereas in P. angustoides they only reach this level, and the presence of two pairs of minute suboval sclerites located between setae j 2 and j 3 in P. biscleritus, which are absent in P. angustoides (Babaeian et al., 2016).	en	Özbek, Hasan Hüseyin, Akyol, Hicran, Demir, Derya (2025): New records and new species of Pachylaelapidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) from Erzincan Province, Türkiye.
