Type Locality: Somalia, "in den Schluchten des Hekebo" (ravine in the Hekebo region); 35 mi (56 km) SW of Berbera ( Moreau et al., 1946:437).
Vernacular Names: Beira.
Distribution: Djibouti, NE Ethiopia (Marmar Mtns only), and N Somalia.
Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable.
Discussion: Present occurrence in Djibouti established by Künzel and Künzel (1998).
