Distribution. China: Qinghai, Ningxia; Kazakhstan; Russia: Altai Mts., Southern Tuva, South-Eastern Transbaikalia; Mongolia.

Remarks. Comparison of specimens matching the descriptions of Macropsis wangi and M. duuschulus indicates that they belong to the same species. M. wangi apparently is a junior synonym of M. duuschulus judging by the shape of penis, the pygofer spine and the color pattern of the face.
