Specimens examined. 2♂, Najran, Al-Shurfa, Saleh Maqbol Farm , 7–28.i.2015, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( NMWC; CERS) .
Distribution. This is the first record from Saudi Arabia. It was described from Mozambique and is further recorded from Angola, Burundi, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Liberia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe ( Deeming, 2018).
Remarks. This is an abnormal specimen in that the ocellar prominence is totally shiny. It has been reared from the grass Sporobolus pyramidalis Beauv. in Nigeria ( Deeming 2018).
