Prodorsal shield 48 (47–49), 53 (51–55) wide; subtriangular; frontal lobe acuminate; median line present 1/3 at base and connected with admedian lines at basal 1/3, admedian and submedian lines connected by a transverse line. Dorsal tubercles on rear margin, 33 (32– 34) apart, scapular setae (sc) 18 (17–19) projecting posterior. Coxal area with short lines; anterolateral setae on coxisternum (1b) 7 (6–9), proximal setae on coxisternum (1a) 15 (14–17), proximal setae on coxisternum (2a) 28 (26–31). Prosternal apodeme present. Legs with usual series of setae. Legs 32 (30–34), femur 9 (9–10), basiventral femoral setae (bv) 12 (11–13); genu 5 (5–6), antaxial genual setae (l'') 30 (28–31); tibia 8 (7–8), paraxial tibial setae (l') 5 (5–6), setae located 1/3 from dorsal base; tarsus 6 (5–6); empodium simple, 4rayed, rodlike solenidion. Legs 29 (27–31), femur 8 (7–8), basiventral femoral setae (bv) 13 (12– 13); genu 5 (4–5), antaxial genual setae (l'') 8 (8–9); tibia 7 (6–7); tarsus 6 (5–6); empodium simple, 4rayed, rodlike solenidion. Opisthosoma: dorsal opisthosoma with 27 (25–31) annuli, smooth, ventrally with 61 (59– 63) annuli, with rounded microtubercles. Setae c2 30 (27–32) on ventral annulus 10 (10–11); setae d 50 (48– 54) on ventral annulus 23 (21–24); setae e 20 (18–23) on ventral annulus 43 (41–44), setae f 30 (29–32) on 5th ventral annulus from rear. Setae h1 2 (2–3). Female genitalia 16 (15–16), 25 (24–25) wide, coverflap with 12 longitudinal ridges and 3 transverse lines at base, proximal setae on coxisternum (3a) 20 (17–22).

MALE: (n = 3) 176 (165–200), 65 (63–66) wide; genitalia 7 (6–7), 19 (1819) wide, proximal setae on coxisternum III (3a) 18 (17–22).

Types. Holotype, female, China: Shaanxi Province, Foping County, 33°30.48’N, 107°58.52’E. September 4, 2004, from Ligustrum siense Lour. (Oleaceae) , coll. Xue, XiaoFeng and Song, ZiWei. Paratypes, 3 females and 3 males, with the same data as holotype.

Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.

Etymology. The specific designation sienses is from the specific epithet of the type host plant, siense . Remarks. This species is similar to Aculops syringae Song, Xue & Hong, 2006 , but can be differentiated by prodorsal shield with median and admedian lines connected (median and admedian lines separate in A. syringae ), ventral annuli with round microtubercles (ventral annuli smooth in A. syringae ), coxal area with short lines (coxal area smooth in A. syringae ). This species is also similar to A. fraxinus Huang, 2001 b, but can be differentiated by median line present (median line absent in A. fraxinus ), coxal area with short lines (coxal area smooth in A. fraxinus ).
