Material examined: (female) LACMIP 2533.1196 (fig. 84).

The single specimen is relatively poorly preserved and does not warrant a new species name, but differs from the two previously described species by its smaller size.

Description:

Total length 5.5 mm excluding head

Head: Length 1.4 mm. Dark brown, probably black in life, oblong. Ocellar triangle promiment, rostrum apparently not produced in front of antennal insertion.

Thorax: Length 1.9 mm. Brown, notum strongly convex. Pronotal spine comb with strong spines, mesonotal spine comb with much shorter spines, number not possible to count. Haltere pale brown.

Legs: Brown, relatively short. Fore tibia robust, apical circlet with strong spines (probably six), mesal part of tibia apparently with one group of spines. Hind femur 1.1 mm long, 0.24 mm wide, clavate, hind tibia 1.3 mm long, 0.24 mm wide, hind first tarsomere 0.49 mm long, 0.15 mm wide.

Wing: Length 4.5 mm, width 1.5 mm, length/width = 3.1. Light brownish, veins brown and indistinctive. Pterostigma indistinctive.

Abdomen: Length 3.4 mm. Yellowish-brown, cylindrical. Cerci small and triangular.
