Records from India. ANDHRA PRADESH: Visakhapatnam (Waltair)— Rao & Ganapati (1968a); GENERAL RECORD: Naidu & Rao (2004). Habitat. Marine; substrate with sand particles of 250–400 µm 20 cm below surface.

Distribution. India (Bay of Bengal). Remarks. Nomenclature and functional role of the accessory reproductive organs as indicated for the Indian specimens should be revised in light of the recent literature (e.g., Kieneke & Schmidt-Rhaesa 2015).
