Distribution. France ( Deshayes 1866; Cossmann 1889; Harris & Burrows 1891; Gougerot & Le Renard 1981). Geological age. Eocene ( Cossmann 1889; Harris & Burrows 1891; Gougerot & Le Renard 1981).

Remarks. The genus Triforis is of feminine gender, therefore the name should be Triforis minuata.
