Type locality. South Africa, Port Alfred .
Type material. OUMNH type material is lost .
Distribution. South Africa ( Turton 1932; Albano et al. 2019).
Remarks. Additional specimens are present in the NHMUK (1933.9.4.37), but there is no evidence for their type status so far ( Albano et al. 2019).
