Meines Wissens ist dies der erste Fund in Marokko. Die Art wurde aus Rio de Oro in Spanisch Sahara (heute Westsahara) nach einem Weibchen beschrieben. GIORDANI SOIKA (1969) hat das Männchen, ebenfalls aus Spanisch Sahara, beschrieben.
