Brachymetra albinervus (Amyot & Serville, 1843) Figure 6

New records. Colombia: Sucre: Toluviejo: Bobo Stream, station 3 (09°33′48″ N, 075°24′39″ W), Wendy Molina- J., 18.III.2017 (WMJ 074). Colombia: Sucre: Toluviejo: Camarón Stream (09°32′32″ N, 075°24′33″ W), Claudia Moreno-R., 22.IV.2017 (CMR 133).

Identification. Brachymetra albinervus is extremely variable in terms of body size and general coloration, which cannot be reliably used for its recognition. Our specimens were identified based on the following char- acters: antennomere I shorter than II and III together; eye not surpassing the anterolateral angle of the pronotum; pronotum with apex rounded, not reaching the mesoacetabulum, without longitudinal dark brown stripe; fore femur robust and slightly arched, with sparse conical black setae ventrally ( Fig. 7); and dorsum of acetabula with silvery setae. This combination of characters distinguishes them from all known congeners ( Cordeiro 2017).

Distribution in the Colombian Caribbean region. Bolívar, Cesar ( Aristizábal-García 2017), Córdoba (Aristizábal- García 2002), La Guajira ( Molano-Rendón et al. 2008,

Morales-Castaño and Castro-Vargas 2010), Magdalena ( Aristizábal-García 2002), Sucre ( Aristizábal-García 2017, this work), Urabá antioqueño ( Aristizábal-García 2002).
