Identification. Males of T. trepidus were distinguished from the 2 previous species by the fore femur without preapical constriction and the venter of abdominal segment VIII covered by long setae. As for females, they have abdominal sternite VII projected posteriorly, partially covering the subsequent segments, with a fringe of long setae on the posterior margin ( Aristizábal-García 2002).
