The FSCA has specimens from Meta, Carimagna. The species has been reported from French Guiana and Peru ( Boulard 1971; Duffels and van der Laan 1985).

Material examined. COLOMBIA: Dept. of Meta, Carimagna, 13-15-III-1979, Jules de Porre ” (one male, AFSC) .
