Lectotype female: Colombia (“Novae-Granatae”) (MNHN). Designated herein by Zamorano/Erwin 2017 and so labeled. Bates (1883) synonymized E. laevicollis View in CoL with E. pubescens View in CoL . However, we compared the two primary types and determined they are not the same species.
