Centaurea purpureiradiata Huber-Morath (1967: 317) View in CoL . Type:— TURKEY. B4 Ankara: Gölbaşi, Brachland , 18 May 1956, Karamanoğlu s.n. (holotype G00006083!).

Distribution: — Cyanus tchihatcheffii is a rare endemic of Ankara Province, C Turkey ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ).

Selected specimens examined:— TURKEY. B4 Ankara: Gölbaşi, 900 m, Brown 316 (E!).
