Tozoni, 1993: 123 (original description); fig. 10 (female thorax and abdomen coloration).

Type locality: Paraguay, Salto del Guayra.

Holotype ♀ with label: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Paraguay | Salto del Guayra | 28–30.xi.1971 | L.E. Peña col.; (2) printed on white paper: “ HOLOTYPE ”

Condition of type. In vial with alcohol, very damaged, abdomen, all legs and wings broken. Missing parts: antennae.
