Zelurus salyavatoides Lent & Wygodzinsky, 1947 View in CoL

Zelurus salyavatoides was described based on a single female collected in Bolivia ( Lent & Wygodzinsky 1947). As these authors commented, this species is distinguished by its very peculiar pattern, which resembles that of Salyavata variegata Amyot & Serville, 1843 (Salyavatinae) (Fig. 11). New records. Brazil, Rondônia state.

Material examined: BRAZIL, 2 females, Rondônia, Ouro Preto d´Oeste [10° 52' S ­ 61° 58' W], 02­XI­ 1983, 03­XI­1983, Johann Becker leg.
