Parapothea jaguaris Carpintero, 1980

Parapothea Carpintero, 1980 is a monotypic genus. P. jaguaris was described from a single female specimen from Bolivia ( Carpintero 1980). Forero (2006) recorded another species of Parapothea in Colombia, which will be described formally later. The female examined here ( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 –3) is very similar to the original description of P. jaguaris ( Carpintero, 1980) , and must be regarded as the same species.
