Genus Chloromerus Becker, 1911 View in CoL

The genus was up to now known only from Australia, where 10 species were recorded ( Spencer, 1986). The genus was considered restricted to Australia with records throughout the country from Tasmania to Queensland and west to Western Australia, but has not been found in Papua New Guinea. Spencer (1986) keyed the Australian species. This is the first record of the genus in the Oriental Region.
