Leaf gall, cylindrical, green or red, glabrous, one-chambered. Galler: Iatrophobia brasiliensis Rübsaamen, 1916 ( Cecidomyiidae ). Trail: Colégio Agrícola (11/III/2013, 20/V/2013, 08/VII/2013, 29/IV/2014) ( Fig. 22 View Figs ).

Previous records: Similar galls on Maniho t spp. were recorded in Goiás, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo. Refs.: Araújo et al. (2011), Carneiro et al. (2009), Maia et al. (2008), Saito and Urso-Guimarães (2012).
