Rhabdomastix (Rhabdomastix) minima Alexander View in CoL
( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 )
Rhabdomastix minima Alexander, 1926: 186 View in CoL .
Material examined. Holotype ♀: New South Wales, Waterfall, November 1921, A. Tonnoir ( ANIC); specimen seen: dry, pinned, terminalia strongly damaged ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 ).
Wing. Veins R 4 and R 5 diverging; M 1+2 distinctly curved; dm similar in length to vein M 4; vein A 2 slightly sinuous, short, ending well before level origin of Rs; anal angle moderately distinct. Membrane darkened in pterostigma area.
Discussion. The holotype, being a female with the terminalia strongly damaged, does not allow a clear idea of specific characters useful for safe interpretation. R. minima Alexander is therefore considered as a nomen dubium. However, details of the wing venation and pattern agree with other members of the R. ostensackeni group.
