Not mentioned for Galicia neither by Tortonese in Whitehead et al. (1986) nor by Quéro et al. (2003). Known by a single specimen of 51 cm TL ( Figure 17 View FIGURE 17 ) caught in July 2009 in the Cies Islands, in the mouth of the Ría de Vigo (South Galicia) (Bañón & Santás, in press).
