First record for European Turkey. S. obscuroguttatus has been cited for Romania ( SEIDLITZ 1888: 25 as Metabletus obscuroguttatus), but recently was omitted for this country (CATPAL 1: KABAK 2003: 433). The above finding confirmed the species presence in Romania.
