Material examined. 2 ɗ, 2 Ψ, Mardin city. Yumurcak Köyü Kiziltepe, 16-IV-2006, S. Tusun leg.
One intact antenna had 29 articles, and the bacilliform sensillum of the third article was between macrochaetae b and c (dorsal position). This species was first described by Condé (1948a) from eastern Algeria. It also has been recorded from the Toulon region of France (Saint-Mandrier) Condé (1948b) and from Corsica (Condé 1953). Collection of specimens from southeastern Anatolia suggests that this species has a wide distribution throughout the Mediterranean.
