Material examined. 1 ɗ, Diyarbakır, Kulp, 14-V-2005, S. Tusun leg.
Young male, 2.5 mm long, without glandular setae, with only a1 -setae on appendages of the urosternite I. Antennae with 20 and 21 articles but certainly regenerated. Bacilliform sensillum of third article between macrochaetae b and c (dorsal position). Tergites with small microdenticles.
This species has been recorded from Rhodes and Coo Islands ( Silvestri 1932) and Crete ( Condé 1984). This southeastern Anatolian collection is the first continental record of the species.
