? Acanella robusta Saucier et al. 2017: 377 , fig. 11 (off Papua New Guinea).

Opinion: This species does occur in the region but may not be recognizable.

Justification:

Literature analysis: The original description of this species did not include a single illustration and has never been redescribed. Saucier et al. (2017) identified material from off New Guinea with this species but without reference to the holotype, which is inaccessible in the Indian Museum in Kolkata. At present the characteristics of the species remain uncertain. Rao & Devi (2003) just list the species.
