Guttulina sp. 1 ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 :8, 9)

Remarks. Specimens were only tentatively assigned to Guttulina due to the heavily damaged state of all specimens leaving distinguishing features incomplete or broken. In spite of this, the oval test with enlongated chambers, inflated aboral end and rounded peripheries ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 :8, 9) suggests an affinity with Guttulina . The test tapers towards the oral end and the terminal aperture consists of slit-like radial openings atop a thickened neck ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 :9). Collected specimens bear a strong resemblance to Glandulina ? sp. cf. G. laevigata of Parker (2009) particularly in regards to the elongate, tapering test shape and radiating, slit-like apertures but lacks a tapered base and uniserial chamber arrangement necessary for Glandulina .

Distribution within study area. Guttulina sp. 1 was collected in low numbers (one to eight speicmens) at sites 52 and 53 in One Tree Lagoon 2 and the channel sample between Wistari and Heron Reefs.
