Description. See Brady (1879, p. 278, pl. 19, fig. 25a–b).
Distribution within study area. Planispirillina inaequalis Brady 1879 was the more abundant of the two Planispirillina species from the CG and was only collected as fragmentary remains from six sites in the One Tree Island Lagoons. Only one specimen was found per site.

Distribution within study area. Planispirillina spinigera ( Chapman 1900) only occurs in the three lagoons of One Tree Island with one to two specimens collected per site.
