Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan ( Borumand 1998; Modarres Awal 2012 both as Apion (Aplemonus) arabicus ; Legalov et al. 2010).
New material examined. Hormozgan province, outskirts of Anaguran , 1♀, 21.iv.2006, leg. D. Baiocchi, E. Colon- nelli collection .
General distribution. Egypt, Iran, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, tropical Africa.
