The Herina oscillans View in CoL group

Diagnosis. Head only slightly oval in profile, with round or low oval eyes, thorax sparsely microtrichose, subshining, abdomen uniformly subshining, without microtrichose bands, surstyli simple, without additional lobes, aculeus with short anal plate and oval cerci, spermathecae short oval or spherical.

The group includes H. lazi sp. nov., H. merzi Kameneva 2007 , H. oscillans (Meigen 1826) , H. parva (Loew 1864) and H. pseudoluctuosa Hennig 1939 .
