Studied material. Loc. 2. 2 ex., 29.IX.1985 (holotype and paratype).
It is only known from the type locality, Akuandi cave, in the Sierra de Urbasa, Navarra ( Beruete 2000a, Beruete et al. 2001, Beruete et al. 2002, Jordana et al. 2012). It has been found on remains of decomposed wood, in very humid areas of the cavity.
