European species. Cited from the north of Spain (Lleida and Navarra). According to Gisin (1952a, 1956) it is frequent in humid forest soils, which corresponds to the distribution of this species in the forests of the northern half of Navarra. In Ostolaza it was found in a small backwater of a stream that runs through the cavity, and in Basantziturriko lezea in the debris cone at the foot of the entrance well, on beech litter ( Beruete 2000a).
