Type material. CHINA: Holotype ♂, Heiwan , Jiangkou County, Guizhou Province, 600 m, 28.VII.2001, leg. Houhun Li & Xinpu Wang, slide No. ZYM06503.

Paratype. Guizhou Province: 1♂, Taohuayuan Village , Songtao County, 769 m, 20.VIII.2018, leg. Meiling Zheng, Jiaqi Deng & Xiaoju Zhu, slide No. YS 18044 .

Description. Adult ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–8 ). Wingspan 18.0 mm.

Head yellow. Antenna with scape yellowish brown; flagellum brown except white along posterior margin. Second segment of labial palpus thickened, with rough scales ventrally, yellowish brown, paler on inner surface; third segment slender, much longer than second, yellowish brown.

Thorax and tegula yellow. Forewing with costal margin almost straight, oblique ventrad from beyond basal 3/ 4; basal streak on costal margin wide at base; ground color pale yellow, markings dark brown: median patch subtriangular, upper 2/3 slightly narrowed, nearly reaching costal margin, its inner margin gently convex, outer margin angled outward at basal 1/3; discocellular stigma comma-shaped; subterminal patch trapezoidal, its inner margin about half length of outer margin, outer margin reaching both costal margin and dorsum, straightly oblique, edged with orange-white line; narrow, dark brown stripe arising from below discocellular stigma oblique downward to lower corner of subterminal patch; terminal zone orange-white, with scattered fuscous scales; black line from beyond subterminal patch along costal margin through termen to tornus; apex triangularly produced; termen concave below apex; fringe descaled. Hindwing greyish brown, with yellowish brown scales along veins; apex more or less obtuse; fringe grey, with pale yellow basal line. Foreleg with femur yellow, tibia yellow dorsally, dark brown ventrally; midleg with femur yellow, tibia white, with brown band at base and middle on dorsal surface respectively; tarsi of fore- and midlegs pale yellow except 1 st tarsus brown dorsally at middle, 2 nd and 3 rd tarsi brown dorsally at base; hindleg with femur and tibia orange-white on inner surface, yellowish brown on outer surface, tibia with long hair-like scales dorsally and white scales near apex; 1 st tarsus brown dorsally at middle, 2 nd and 3 rd tarsi brown dorsally at base.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Uncus elongate, broad at base, narrowed toward apex, sinuate anteriorly, setose distally, bent ventrad apically. Gnathos with median process broad at base, tapered to apex, curved ventrad beyond middle. Valva broad at base, narrow medially; costa broadly concave from near base; ventral margin with a small notch at about middle; sacculus weakly developed, broad basally, narrowed and terminated before middle; cucullus sub-triangular, elongated and narrowed toward apex, densely setose, rounded around lower corner, concave at basal 1/3 on outer margin. Juxta rectangular, wider than long, with a large, sharply tipped caudal plate medially; anterior margin with a small process at middle; lateral process arising from posterior 1/3, small semi-ovate, bearing few long setae. Vinculum narrow, banded. Aedeagus approximately as long as valva, broad at base, bent at basal 1/4 ventrally, heavily sclerotized apically; dense minute denticles on ventral surface beyond 2/3 and small protrusion on dorsal surface near apex; cornuti consisting of a cluster of numerous spinules with a plate bearing sclerotized, strong denticles, and another long cluster with numerous variously sized denticles.

Female unknown.

Diagnosis. This species is similar to D. commatopa , but it differs from the latter in the male genitalia by the weakly sclerotized apex of the aedeagus and the cornuti consisting of numerous small denticles, whereas the aedeagus has a heavily sclerotized apex and the cornuti consist of a bundle of long needle-like spines and numerous denticles in D. commatopa . This species is superficially similar to D. anatoliana sp. nov. and D. ovidiscalis sp. nov., but it can be distinguished from them by the juxta with a sharply tipped caudal plate in the male genitalia, which is absent in the latter two species. The new species is also similar to D. acutiprocessa Park et S. Wang, 2015 in the male genitalia, but it differs from the latter by the aedeagus with numerous denticles, whereas the aedeagus has four denticles in D. acutiprocessa .

Distribution. China (Guizhou).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin mult- and dentalis, referring to the dense minute denticles on ventral surface of the aedeagus in the male genitalia.
