Distribution: Widespread in Europe, North Africa ( Algeria, Azores, Canary Isles, Egypt, Madeira, Morocco, Tunisia) and Asia. Extralimital records in tropical Africa, Cape Verde Islands, Hawaii, Oriental Region.
