Molecular data. The nearest neighbour is C. rudella Toll, 1944, with a 5.41 % divergence. The barcodes of C. vulnerariae exhibit 0.77 % maximum intraspecific variation (n=7). There are no barcodes for Moroccan specimens.

Distribution. Europe, Morocco ( Baldizzone, 2019).
