Kabakra Dworakowska, 1979: 155 ; Mathew & Ramakrishnan, 1996: 9; Cao, Huang & Zhang, 2012: 59 Type species: Kabakra augusta Dworakowska, 1979

Diagnosis. Kabakra may be distinguished from other Erythroneurini by the following combination of characters: body size relatively small, length 1.9-2.5 mm, dorsal coloration mottled brown with symmetrical pale spots; male pygofer laterally with single macroseta near midlength of dorsal margin and two to four macrosteae posterodorsally and band or group of short fine submarginal setae ventroapically, dorsal appendage not fused to pygofer side; subgenital plate lateral margin with uniseriate row of three macrosetae near midlength; aedeagus with well developed dorsal apodeme.

Remarks. Cao et al. (2012) provided a detailed re-description of the genus and a further description is given in Dmitriev’s (2016) database.

Distribution. Oriental region.
