Hosts. Polyphagous, reported from 261 species belonging to 64 plant families ( García Morales et al. 2016).
Distribution. Australasian, Afrotropical, Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions ( García Morales et al. 2016). This is the first record of Ph. solenopsis in Uruguay.
