Hosts. Reported on leguminous plants ( Fabaceae ), such as Glycine max , Lotus corniculatus , Medicago sativa , Trifolium pratense and T. repens ( Granara de Willink & Dughetti, 2012) . In Uruguay it was found on L. corniculatus and T. pretense ( Granara de Willink & Dughetti, 2012) .

Distribution. Neotropical region ( García Morales et al. 2016).

Comments. Morphological discrepancies between our collected specimens and the original description were observed. Specimens identified here as Ps. pabulum differed from the original description as follows (the original description condition is given in brackets): (i) hind femur length 220–230 (235–265); (ii) hind tibia length 240–280 (252–277); and (iii) oral rim tubular ducts on abdominal dorsum numbering 20–31 (36–40).
