Genus Drilorhinus Kovalev, Kirejtshuk, and Shapovalov, 2019

Drilorhinus Kovalev et al. 2019: 188 . Type species: Drilorhinus klimenkoi Kovalev, Kirejtshuk, and Shapovalov, 2019 .

Diagnosis. Frontoclypeal region strongly produced forwards, apically narrowed and emarginate; mandible robust, relatively short and wide, distinctly curved; eyes medium-sized, their minimal interocular distance 1.85–1.95 eye diameter; antenna pectinate; pronotum 1.30–1.35 times as wide as long, with lateral sides almost straight, lateral carina incomplete, distinct at basal half, then only vaguely defined and missing after 3/4 of prothorax length; prosternal process reduced; mesoventrite V-shaped, with only vaguely defined mesoventral cavity; all abdominal ventrites free; paramere without latero-apical projection ( Figs. 1–3 ; Kovalev et al. 2019).
