Remarks

This genus is very similar to Terpnosia but it differs from the latter in having no claspers behind the uncal lobes of the pygofer and the acutely pointed distal shoulder of pygofer. This genus is also similar to the Pomponia linearis species group, but it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: hind wing with zigzag infuscation along bases of apical cells 1 – 3; male abdomen widest across abdominal segment 4; and basal lobe of pygofer absent ( Lee 2012b) or short; uncus bifurcate, forming a pair of uncal lobes.
