Material. Indonesia: Sumbawa , nr Pancasila, Gn. Tambora, Mal. trap 1, c 1250 m, 2 ♂♂ 22.ix.–2.x.1993, leg. C. van Achterberg (Leiden) .
Description. ♂. Body length 16 mm. Flagellum with 39 flagellomeres, bristle-shaped; 1 st flagellomeres 3.0 × longer than wide. Tyloids on flagellomeres 9–20, long-oval, slightly apically located, maximally 0.6 × as long as their flagellomeres. Temple rather short, distinctly and roundly narrowed behind eye (fig. 17A). Fore metatarsus with apical tooth. Hind femur 4.3 × longer than wide. Areolet pointed frontally. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 2.0 × its width. 2 nd tergite 1.3 × longer than wide. Thyridium slightly oblique, 1.0 × as wide as the interval between thyridia.
Colour. Black with extensive ivory coloration. Flagellomeres 10–15 dorsally, palps, mandible except teeth, clypeus, face, gena, complete orbits, scape ventrally, frontal and upper margins of pronotum, two central paramedian stripes on mesoscutum (fig. 17B), prescutellar ridge, scutellum except black median stripe, postscutellum, large stripe of ventral mesopleuron, posterior spot of mesosternum, upper division of metapleuron, area spiracularis frontal of spiracles, apical half of area dentipara and area posteroexterna, apical margin of postpetiole, posterolateral spots of 2 nd to 5 th tergites (smaller on 5 th tergite), 2 nd to 4 th sternites except lateral brown spots and apical margins of 5 th and 6 th sternites ivory. Legs black; fore and mid coxae and trochantelli, all trochanters, fore and mid legs frontally, subbasal ring of hind tibia and hind tarsus ivory; hind femur black, reddish-brown in basal 1/3–2/3. Wings hyaline, pterostigma black.
Distribution. Known from Laos and Myanmar, new record for Indonesia.
