Description. Elongate; robust; reddish-yellow; head, antennae, and legs (except base of femora) black; pronotum and elytra with black markings. Head: vertex trisulcate; interocular space strongly produced, with short, strong carina; frons punctate, not projecting. Antenna: ⅓ body length; filiform; antennomere 1 subglobose, larger and wider than 2; 2 transverse, short; 3 cylindrical, as long as 1 and 2 combined, sulcate; 4– 6 cylindrical, each shorter than preceding; 7–10 transverse, each shorter than 6; 11 longer than 10, acutely pointed at apex. Pronotum: subconical, transverse, convex; lateral margin bisinuate; anterior angle with rounded tooth; transverse depression on disc at base; torulose on each side; disc coarsely, irregularly punctate; pronotal length 1.3–1.4 mm (n=8); pronotal width 1.9–2.2 mm. Scutellum: subcordate; punctate. Elytron: expanding to apex; lateral margin serrate, more coarsely so apically; exterior apical angle with two large teeth; apical margin dentate, teeth not large; sutural angle rounded; with 10 rows of punctures, scutellar row absent; intervals 2, 4, and 8 costate from base to apex, interval 6 costate at base and apex; humerus produced, rounded; elytral length 7.9–8.3 mm; elytral width 3.0– 3.1 mm. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna smooth in middle, punctate laterally; abdominal sterna smooth. Leg: femur punctate; tibia with row of setae on inner margin and tuft of setae at apex. Total length: 10.1–10.4 mm.

Remarks. This species is distinguished by the elytra without a scutellar row, elytral costae 1 and 2 do not unite near apex; the vertex of the head is trisulcate; antennomere 1 is subglobose while 2 is transverse; the disc of the pronotum is coarsely and irregularly punctate and the lateral margin is bisinuate.

Host plant. Unknown.
