Type locality and specimens. Nosy-Bé, Madagascar, 12°9'S 48°27'E. Holotype, male, 9 mm. GoogleMaps
Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Ledoyer (1976(1978)).
Diagnosis. Gnathopod 1 coxa with triangular anterodistal margin; basis inflated; carpus thick; dactylus short. Gnathopod 2 carpus with large subdistal tooth; dactylus elongate. Coxa 4 with serrate distal margin. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded. Telson apex with strong point.
Note. Type material needs to be examined to determine if the illustration depicts a secondary mediofacial setal row on gnathopod 2.
Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.
Habitat. Habitat not reported; 250–390 m.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Indian Ocean: Madagascar ( Ledoyer 1978b; Ledoyer 1986).
