Chrysso yulingu Barrion, Barrion-Dupo Heong View in CoL , new species [ Figure 40 A-F]

& FEMALE. Holotype female, total length 2.40mm. Cephalothorax length 0.90mm, width 0.70mm, height 0.50mm. Abdomen length 1.50mm, width 1.50mm and height 1.20mm.

Carapace blackish brown with a pale yellow triangular median band, 1.28x longer than wide, cephalic area distinctly higher than thoracic area. Chelicerae blackish brown. Sternum black with pale yellow margin. Labium and maxillae black.

Eyes. AE row strongly recurved and slightly longer than moderately recurved PE row. Eye diameter (mm): AME = 0.09> PM =0.08> ALE = 0.063> PLE = 0.57. Clypeus height wide, 1.22x AME diameter.

Legs. Uniformly yellow except blackish brown venter of tibia I, metatarsus III, tibia IV and metatarsus IV, entire tarsus I and 1 prolateral and 1 retrolateral bristles and 3 dorsal trichobothria. Leg formula 1423.

Abdomen. Subtriangular, as long as wide, grayish yellow with a black median band, tip and venter of abdomen. Spinnerets located underneath almost at midlength of abdomen.

Epigynum with a pair oblongate spermathecae converging posteriorly, fertilization tube half coiled on top of spermathecae, median septum deeply concave.

MALE. Unknown.

Material Examined. Holotype female (coll. no.Y06), CHINA, Hainan Island, Jianfengling, Yulingu Valley, 25 March- 0 9 April 2011, AT Barrion, JLA Catindig, SCVillareal. Paratype 1 female, same data as for holotype.

Diagnostic Features. This species runs very close to the general appearance of Chrysso nigra (O.P.-Cambridge, 1880) but differs from the latter in (1) subtriangular abdomen with a black median blackish gray spot, (2) cephalothorax with a yellow triangular spot, (3) deeply concave C-shaped median septum, and (4) shape of spermathecae.

Etymology. Named after type locality.
