Habitat and locality

Soil around the roots of trees in a mixed evergreen broad-leaved forest; and from grassland in Ailao Mountains, Yunnan Province, China.

Remarks

Tylencholaimus pini was described by Siddiqi and Khan (1965) from Chandigam, Kashmir, India. The present population from China conforms well to the description of the original population. Slight differences are a comparatively shorter odontostyle (vs 13–15 mm); longer spear extension (vs 11–12 mm); more posterior vulva position (vs V535–38) and higher c value (vs c545–53).
