Holotype: MNHN (illustrated in Oppel 1811:Pl. 15–16, and reproduced in Bour & Schmidtler 2014: 23, Fig. 9, A, B), apparently lost ( Das 2009:4); identified as Malayemys subtrijuga by Bour & Schmidtler (2014:15–16); neotype designation forthcoming.
