The specific status of Scutellista caerulea obscurata , which is known only from Eritrea, should be checked, because BOUČEK (1988: 351) did not list the taxon in the synonymic list of Scutellista caerulea (BOYER DE FONSCOLOMBE, 1832) . The taxon is not mentioned in MITROIU (2011: 160).
