Type locality. Peru, Huaraz.

Examined material. HT ♂ (CSt at MSNM); 3 PTT ♂ and 2 PTT ♀ (CSt) (Löffler legit); 2 PTT ♂ from El Ticlio (Mateu legit) (CMa) actually belong to B. ticlianus .

Note. This species is probably a close relative of B. fitzcarraldi , recently described from Cordillera Blanca, Dept. Ancash (Giachino & Allegro 2011).

Distribution. At present this species is only known from Huaraz, Cordillera Blanca (Dept. Ancash).
