Type series — Holotype ( ZMH 141510 View Materials ): Shell height 1.58 mm, shell width 1.28 mm, IRAN, Semnan Province, IRH10B, Haq-ol-Khayajeh village , reocrenic spring and springbrook, 37.139077 N, 55.994571 E, 01.viii.2022 leg Pešić GoogleMaps . Paratypes: numerous (>50) ex. ( ZMH 141511 View Materials ), 20 ex. coll. Glöer, same data as the holotype GoogleMaps .

Type locality — Iran, Semnan province, Haq-ol-Khayajeh village , reocrenic spring and springbrook, 37.139077°N, 55.994571°E GoogleMaps .

Etymology — Named after Dr Diana Delicado (Giessen, Germany) in appreciation of her studies of Iranian gastropod fauna.

Description. Shell — The conical globular shell has 3.5 fast growing whorls, separated by a weak suture, with a prominent body whorl. The spire is short. The aperture is pyriform with an angle at the top. The outer lip is slightly sinuated from lateral view. The peristome is sharp, the umbilicus is closed. The shell is 1.58- 1.91 mm high and 1.32-1.46 mm broad.

Animal — The mantle is black with a white border. The proximal part of the penis is broad and rectangular while distal part is elongated and slender.

Differentiating features — As for the genus.

Habitat — Reocrenic spring and springbrook ( Fig. 2A View Figure 2 ); environmental characteristics of the sampling site: water temperature 21.7 C°; electrical conductivity 739 µS/cm; pH 7.31; dissolved oxygen 0.61 mg /L; water flow 0.6 m /s.

Distribution — Iran; only known from the type locality in Semnan province ( Fig. 2A View Figure 2 ).
