Cixius verticalis Noualhier, 1897: 79 View in CoL ; China, 1938: 50; Lindberg, 1941: 31; Lindberg, 1961: 55 Distribution. Endemic to Madeira archipelago. MADEIRA: occurs at medium and high altitudes mainly on northern slopes ( China, 1938; Lindberg, 1941; Lindberg, 1961; Noualhier, 1897). Habitat. Hedges and trees in native forest ( Lindberg, 1961).
